Warranty

  1. TRICKER TRAILERS (Tricker) extends to the original retail purchaser a “Limited Warranty” on each new Tricker Trailer.  This warranty does not extend to any other person(s) to whom the trailer may be transferred.

  1. Tricker warrants each new trailer to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of two years from the original purchase date. The integrity of the trailer frame is warranted for life.  FAILURE TO COMPLETE AND RETURN THE WARRANTY REGISTRATION CARD IN THE OWNERS MANUAL TO TRICKER MAY DELAY THE PROCESSING OF, AND/OR VOID THE SAID WARRANTY.

  1. This warranty shall not apply to any product found to have been modified or altered in any way, nor shall it apply to any defect or malfunction caused by damage due to unreasonable use, loading the trailer beyond the stated capacities, or failure to provide adequate and necessary maintenance (please see attached maintenance list).

  1. Under this warranty, lights are covered for a period of only ninety days.  Axles, brakes, and bearings are warranted for a period of one year from the date of delivery to the boat manufacturer. This warranty does not cover winches, tongue jacks, springs, tires or wheels, as these are warranted separately by their respective manufacturers.

  1. A safety chain is supplied with hook fastening positions to ensure the boat will not move during transport.  It is the owner’s responsibility to properly secure the trailer for transport.

  1. Due to the highly corrosive conditions to which a trailer is exposed, rust formation is not covered.  Although Tricker uses a premium product to both prime, and top coat our trailers, we are working with a structural steel to which paint does not well adhere; therefore, Tricker does not warranty painted trailers against defects or damage to the painted finish.  Our galvanized trailers are recommended for use in corrosive conditions such as: road deicers, salt, gravel, and sand.

  1. The exclusive remedy offered under this warranty is repair, or replacement of a covered defect.  If a warranty issue should arise, Tricker shall determine whether repair or replacement is appropriate.  Tricker will dictate whether the trailer is to be returned at the purchaser’s expense, or if the work is to be done at an authorized repair facility.  ALL warranty work MUST be pre-authorized through the Tricker warranty department.  Failure to do so will result in rejection, and non-payment of the warranty claim.  Purchasers shall be responsible for any and all shipping charges to Tricker.  A maximum of $60.00 per hour shop labor is allowed for repairs authorized to be made at a repair facility other than Tricker.

  1. The following are exclusions of the Tricker Warranty:

    1. Loss of time/wages
    2. Inconvenience
    3. Towing charges
    4. Travel expenses
    5. Loading charges
    6. Telephone charges
    7. Gasoline expenses
    8. Damage to personal property

  1. Tricker shall not be liable for any incidental, or consequential damages for breach of this, or any other warranty expressed or implied.  Some states do not allow this exclusion of limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above may not apply to you.  This warranty gives you specific legal rights which vary from state to state.

ALL CUSTOMERS REQUESTING WARRANTY ASSISTANCE FROM FACILITIES OTHER THAN THAT OF THE ORIGINAL PURCHASE WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL LABOR COSTS EXCEEDING TRICKER’S STANDARD WARRANTY
